Anthony Scarpino

Anthony Scarpino

Director, Community Partnerships

Anthony’s interest in helping people with disabilities as well as those who are less fortunate started way back in his teenage years. Whether he was participating in Relay for Life, volunteering at the Special Olympics, or fundraising for THON, Anthony always felt that part of his life’s mission was to help others. After growing up in the small town of Bloomsburg, PA, he moved to State College where he earned his Bachelor of Arts Degree at The Pennsylvania State University. After graduation, Anthony moved to Reno and worked for the University of Nevada for a year before returning back to Pennsylvania to work in the financial sector. Although he enjoyed his occupation, the amount of weekly hours it required didn’t easily allow him to continue his charity work, which he greatly missed.

When the opportunity to work for Transitional Options was presented to him, he jumped on it without hesitation. Because he recently received his ACRE Certification from the University of Massachusetts, Anthony’s main focus will be creating relationships between local business and disabled adults looking for employment. Anthony is excited and determined to help individuals with disabilities feel important, feel valued, and most importantly feel included.
